Dennis Savage has long been the featured artist of Majestic Galleries-Nelsonville. The Gallery promotes local artists, holds art exhibitions and events, and helps the development of a nice artistic community.

To Dennis Savage, a photographer who is closely bound to cameras, the purpose of photography is to express an idea. His works emphasize the visual beauty, but they never stop at the pursuit of visually appealing images. Although many of Savage’s images sometimes appear realistic, they are far beyond simple imitations of the natural world. Although his various works have landscape as the subject matter, most of his works, more often than not, are a presentation of the relationship between human beings and nature.
