As a creative artist and a profound thinker who pays serious attention to the issues of the universe, the world, life, and art, Gerald Westgerdes’ art has much variety.

Gerald Westgerdes has been an art professor of Ohio University-Zanesville. He also served on the of Board of Directors of Zanesville Museum of Art and a true advocate of arts in the community. Westgerdes used to be an artist and illustrator in US Army and a recipient of the Army Commendation Medal for Outstanding Art Work.
