Hugo Öfverström (1900-1972) was a Swedish artist known for his Impressionist style. Born in Kungälv, Öfverström received art education at The Valand Academy of Fine Art. He excelled in coastal paintings that portrayed sailboats and boathouses, characterized by loose brushwork and harmonious color palette.
